KATHERINE KNOWS YOUR JOURNEY
Katherine is a mother of four beautiful daughters ages 10-20. She spent ten years in total nursing her babies, including seven months breastfeeding an infant and toddler in tandem. “I loved my time breastfeeding, which is why I LOVE helping families on their own breastfeeding journeys!”
INTERNATIONAL BOARD CERTIFIED
Katherine is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) since 2016. IBCLCs hold the GOLD STANDARD, crème-de-la-crème expert-level certification of all the breastfeeding helper credentials.
Katherine was also a La Leche League Leader for three years. “I love La Leche League for its nurturing, child-centered philosophy that believes in mothering through breastfeeding. La Leche League changed my life in my early years of parenting and I want to do the same for others!”
ADVANCED SKILLS LACTATION CONSULTANT
TIES. Katherine is an expert on tongue, lip and buccal ties. Since 2013, she has helped thousands of families improve breast and bottle feeding outcomes by properly identifying ties, connecting families to tie release specialists, and providing post release guidance in habilitating oral function. Katherine is a two time graduate (2017 and 2021) of the advanced lactation skills training IBCLC Master Class. Additional selected tie trainings include:

WEANING. Katherine is also an expert on weaning and night weaning. Katherine is the author of the well-known nightweaning book for breastfeeding toddlers, “Nursies When the Sun Shines.” The book was published in 2011, has sold more than 40,000 copies, and is on the Amazon best seller list of sleep disorder books.
