PRENATAL BREASTFEEDING PLANNING - approx 75 MINUTES
Get off to the best start possible for you and your baby by booking a prenatal visit.  At this visit, we will review your medical history and any prior birth and breastfeeding journeys; examine your breasts and nipples for any structural issues that may affect breastfeeding; demonstrate and practice breastfeeding positions; discuss birth plans and how they may affect breastfeeding;  discuss how to prevent low milk supply; discuss what is normal regarding breastmilk production, infant care, and sleep; go over back to work plans and need/timing for pumping and introduction of bottles; how to use a bottle in a breastfeeding supportive way; flange size fittings and pump assistance. Prenatal sessions are customizable - we will focus on what YOU want to know! After your visit, we will send you a detailed list of what we discussed.
